General description

塩基性の線維芽細胞増殖因子（塩基性FGF）は、基底膜や、内皮下の細胞外マトリックス中に存在します。塩基性FGFは、胚の発達初期に誘導され、胚性幹細胞（ESC）や系統が明らかな幹細胞の多能性や自己再生のために必要（しかし十分ではない）であり、増殖や分化阻害をサポートするために機能します。hESCの自己再生は、TGFβファミリーの細胞シグナルプログラムの、アクチビン/Nodal/Smad2,3分岐の活性化およびBMP/GDF/Smad5分岐の抑制に依存します。塩基性FGFは、多能性のNodalサポートのためのコンピテンスファクターです。アクチビン-Aは、幹細胞性の維持に必要十分です。ヒトES細胞において、Nodalと塩基性FGFの両方の発現を誘導します。

Application

塩基性の線維芽細胞増殖因子（塩基性FGF）は、ヒト胚性幹細胞や、間充織幹（間質）細胞（MSC）などの幹細胞株の培養維持に必要です。

Physical form

1 μgのBFGFあたり50 μgのウシ血清アルブミンを含む、20 mMトリスおよび1M NaCl、pH 7.0の、0.2 μmフィルター濾過済み溶液から凍結乾燥されました。

Analysis Note

塩基性FGFの生物活性は、酸化還元感受性色素であるレサズリンを使用した蛍光定量アッセイで測定されています。
