Etoposide USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:

  • Etoposide Injection

  • Etoposide Phosphate for Injection

Biochem/physiol Actions

エトポシドは、トポイソメラーゼIIおよびDNAと複合体化してDNA二本鎖および一本鎖開裂を強化すると共に再連結を可逆的に阻害する抗癌剤です。 細胞周期のS相およびG2相で細胞周期をブロックします。正常細胞株および腫瘍細胞株でアポトーシスを誘導します。腫瘍癌タンパク質Mdm2の合成を阻害し、Mdｍ2を過剰発現している腫瘍細胞株のアポトーシスを誘発します。
ポイソメラ-ゼIIやDNAと複合体を形成し、二本鎖・一本鎖DNAを切断し、再結合を可逆的に阻害する抗腫瘍剤です。
