General description

Peroxidase conjugate of Anti-Phosphotyrosine Mouse mAb (PY20), Cat. No. 525295. Recognizes a broad spectrum of tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins in their native and denatured states in crude extracts.
Purified mouse monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish peroxidase. Recognizes a broad spectrum of tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins.
This PhosphoDetect Anti-Phosphotyrosine Mouse mAb (PY20) Peroxidase Conjugate is validated for use in ELISA, Immunoblotting, Immunohistochemistry for the detection of Phosphotyrosine.

Specific for tyrosine phosphorylated proteins in both the native and denatured states. Binding is inhibited by phosphotyrosine; does not react with threonine or serine phosphorylated residues on proteins. Do not use milk as a blocking agent with this antibody. Milk contains many phosphotyrosine containing proteins and will adsorb the antibody. Use a buffer with <150 mM NaCl and divalent cations not much >1 mM because this antibody′s binding is inhibited by high salt concentrations and divalent cations. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
