      Application CommentsUseful as a blocking agent in immunohistochemical procedures or as a negative control for specific mouse antibodies. For use as a negative control in any application, perform experiments in parallel using primary antibody or normal serum at the same concentration. A signal obtained with the normal serum indicates a nonspecific interaction; any additional signal with the primary antibody indicates a specific antibody-antigen interaction. This antibody has also been reported to work for ELISA, flow cytometry, immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation.
