Description
OverviewRecombinant, mouse growth differentiation factor 9 (GDF-9) consisting of amino acids 307-477 and expressed in Chinese Hamster Ovary cells. GDF-9 is an oocyte secreted paracrine factor, necessary for mammalian ovarian folliculogenesis. Mature mouse GDF-9 is 90% identical to the amino acid sequence of mature human GDF-9. GDF-9 as a paracrine factor is useful in granulosa cell proliferation and differentiation regulation.
