Mixture of collagenolytic proteases that can be separated and characterized by FPLC. Has high activity against different types of collagen, especially calf skin collagen Type III and bovine lens capsule collagen Type IV, that are resistant to clostridial collagenases. Excellent, general-purpose protease that has chymotrypsin-, trypsin-, and elastase-like specificity and cleaves both standard synthetic and protein substrates. Ability to cleave native, insoluble collagen makes it particularly suitable for isolation of viable cells from tissues. Recommended for harvesting of endothelial cells.

Has high activity against different types of collagen, especially calf skin collagen Type III and bovine lens capsule collagen Type IV, that are resistant to clostridial collagenases. Has the ability to cleave native, insoluble collagen, making it particularly suitable for the isolation of intact viable cells from tissues. Recommended for harvesting of endothelial cells. Stable at pH 6.5-8.5, and has an optimal pH and temperature of 7.7 and 37°C, respectively.
