Our broad portfolio consists of multiplex panels that allow you to choose, within the panel, analytes that best meet your needs. On a separate tab you can choose the premixed cytokine format or a single plex kit.
Cell Signaling Kits & MAPmates™
Choose fixed kits that allow you to explore entire pathways or processes. Or design your own kits by choosing single plex MAPmates™, following the provided guidelines.
The following MAPmates™ should not be plexed together:
-MAPmates™ that require a different assay buffer
-Phospho-specific and total MAPmate™ pairs, e.g. total GSK3β and GSK3β (Ser 9)
-PanTyr and site-specific MAPmates™, e.g. Phospho-EGF Receptor and phospho-STAT1 (Tyr701)
-More than 1 phospho-MAPmate™ for a single target (Akt, STAT3)
-GAPDH and β-Tubulin cannot be plexed with kits or MAPmates™ containing panTyr

Cellsignaling multiplex assays enable accurate relative quantitation of total and phosphorylated forms of signaling proteins, revealing connections within your networks of interest.
Post-translational modifications (PTM) affect signaling proteins which makes the study of cellsignaling pathways challenging. Our technologies for signaling research, combined with validated antibodies for proteins and PTMs, enable you to choose the perfect assay.
Whether you need ultrasensitive detection from a Singulex assay, maximum throughput from a Gyrolab workstation, robust ELISAs or rich profiling data from a Luminex panel, our immunoassay platforms help you get data you can trust out of each sample, with minimal repetition, so you can make the best next-step decisions.
Cardiovascular Multiplex Assays from our growing portfolio of protein biomarkers, provide quality tools for studying the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease.
Metabolism and endocrinology multiplex assays assist in the study of obesity, diabetes and associated conditions under the umbrella of metabolic syndrome.
At Merck, we have the advantage of having an entire cell analysis technology development team in-house. To support our multi-step, multi=application validation process, we have a tissue and blot library with over 1300 lysates, allowing us to precisely determine each antibody's specificity. We can obtain accurate data faster and accurately using confocal microscopes and high-throughput IHC instruments. Before releasing the antibody to manufacturing, we ensure that our antibodies meet our strictest specifications. Only antibodies that pass our stringent review are made available to customers. Once produced and released for sale, we support customers' research efforts with a highly specialized team of technical support scientists and field engineers.
Our cancer multiplex assays include soluble cancer analyte multiplex kits, inflammation and immune response cytokine/chemokine kits, and MAPmates cellsignaling assays.
