3,3′,5,5′-四甲基联苯胺(TMB)是辣根过氧化物酶(HRP)偶联物的显色底物。它会产生永久性不可溶解的深蓝色反应产物，可应用于比色定量。

3,3′,5,5′-四甲基联苯胺(TMB)细胞膜的液体底物体系：
- 用于酶联免疫斑点法(ELISPOT)分析
- 用作IgG过氧化物酶的底物
- 应用于免疫复合物的可视化
3,3′,5,5′-四甲基联苯胺(TMB)显色液（转印膜用底物）可作为蛋白质免疫印迹分析(western blot)的显色底物。也可用作酶联免疫吸附测定(ELISA)的底物溶液。
