General description

Kaempferol 3,7-diglucoside, also known as Kaempferol 3,7-di-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, is a phenolic flavonol glycoside. It possesses enzyme inhibition property towards α-amylase, α-glucosidase and acetylcholinesterase. This compound represents a conjugated form of kaempferol, having two beta-D-glucosyl residues attached at positions O-3 and O-7. Current research suggests that this metabolite may exhibit a range of biological activities, including antioxidant, antidiabetic and neuroprotective properties
