Application

<li><strong>Trace Amines Quantification:</strong> Propionic anhydride is used to derivatize the amino and hydroxyl groups for catecholamines and indolesin (de Bruyn et al., 2024).</li>
<li><strong>Asphaltene Oxidation Research:</strong> It is used in the oxidation of asphaltene and in the synthesis of peroxypropionic acid (Zhao et al., 2023).</li>
<li><strong>In Acylation Reactions:</strong> Used in the acylation of 1,2-methylenedioxybenzene (MDB) during the synthesis of 3,4-methylenedioxypropiophenone (MDP1P) and propionic acid.<br /> (Schiaroli et al., 2023).</li>
