General description

Kidney injury in dogs involves complex inflammatory and cellular responses, reflected in biomarkers such as Clusterin, Cystatin C, IL-8 (CXCL8), KIM-1, MCP-1 (CCL2), NGAL (Lipocalin-2), and Osteopontin (OPN). Clusterin is a stress-induced protein linked to tissue protection and repair. Cystatin C reflects glomerular filtration efficiency. IL-8 and MCP-1 are chemokines involved in immune cell recruitment during inflammation. KIM-1 and NGAL are sensitive indicators of tubular damage, while OPN plays a role in fibrosis and immune modulation. Together, these analytes provide a comprehensive profile of renal injury, inflammation, and recovery in canine models

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 7 analytes in canine urine samples.

Analytes included: Clusterin, Cystatin C, IL-8 (CXCL8), KIM-1, MCP-1 (CCL2), NGAL (Lipocalin-2), Osteopontin (OPN)

Assay Characteristics: Refer to assay protocol for details on cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.
