Application

Terbium(III) chloride hexahydrate can be used to study the effect of Tb(III) ions on the micellization properties of surfactants.

It can also be used as aprecursor to synthesize a label-freeaptasensor for the detection of ofloxacin (OFL) residues in the food.

The occurrence of biological homochirality is attributed to symmetry-breaking mechanisms which are still debatable. Studies of symmetry breaking require tools for monitoring the population ratios of individual chiral nano-objects, such as molecules, polymers, or nanocrystals. Moreover, mapping their spatial distributions

Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are porous crystalline structures, currently used as sensors, separation membranes, and as catalysts. Due to their physicochemical and optical properties, they have been recently proposed for fingermark detection. This study further explored their potential for fingermark detection.

Endospores are heat-resistant bacterial resting stages that can remain viable for long periods of time and may thus accumulate in sediments as a function of sediment age. The number of spores in sediments has only rarely been quantified, because of
