Application

2,5-Dihydroxybenzoic acid is an ionic liquid matrix used for the analysis of biomolecules using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization combined with mass spectrometry.
Most commonly used matrix for carbohydrates. For MALDI-MS of free neutral glycans. Produces [M+Na]+ ion; may show a weaker [M+K]+ ion. Other species may be generated by the addition of the appropriate inorganic salt.

Monogalactosyldiacylglycerol (MGDG) is ubiquitous in the photosynthetic membranes of cyanobacteria and chloroplasts. It is synthesized by galactosylation of diacylglycerol (DAG) in the chloroplasts, whereas it is produced by epimerization of monoglucosyldiacylglycerol (GlcDG) in at least several cyanobacteria that have been

Metal and metal oxide chelating-based phosphopeptide enrichment technologies provide powerful tools for the in-depth profiling of phosphoproteomes. One weakness inherent to current enrichment strategies is poor binding of phosphopeptides containing multiple basic residues. The problem is exacerbated when strong cation
