Application

Vanadium(IV) oxide sulfate hydrate can be used as a starting material to synthesize V2O5 nanoparticles and vanadium-based oxidation catalysts for selective oxidation reactions. It can also be used as a precursor to fabricate various coatingmaterials. For example, it is used as an additive in the formation of black plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) coating on aluminum alloy.
