General description

ACTH, insulin, and leptin regulate endocrine and metabolic activity, while DKK1, FGF-23, OPG, PTH, and sclerostin are key modulators of bone formation, resorption, and mineral homeostasis. Together, these biomarkers provide insight into skeletal health and endocrine-bone interactions in rat models.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 8 analytes in rat serum or plasma samples.

Analytes Included: ACTH, DKK1, FGF-23, Insulin, Leptin, Osteoprotegerin (OPG), PTH, Sclerostin (SOST)

Assay Characteristics: Refer to the assay protocol for details on cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Multiplex detection of 8 bone and endocrine biomarkers in one assay
  • Magnetic bead-based format for efficient and reproducible processing
  • Compatible with rat serum and plasma
  • High sensitivity for low-abundance targets
Benefits:

  • Saves time and sample volume through multiplexing
  • Reduces assay variability and improves data quality
  • Enables comprehensive profiling of bone and endocrine biomarkers
  • Supports research in skeletal health, bone remodeling, and mineral balance
