General description

Used in conjunction with hypoxanthine and aminopterin for the selection of hybridoma cell lines. Also reported to induce cell death in L-cells.

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, sterilize by filtration using a 0.22 µm filter, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 year at -20°C.
