Application

  • Use of a thermal lens microscope in integrated catecholamine determination on a microchip.: Sodium metaperiodate was used in this study for the determination of catecholamines using a microchip, showcasing its application in advanced analytical techniques (Sorouraddin et al., 2001).

  • Ultrastructural staining with sodium metaperiodate and sodium borohydride.: This research employs sodium metaperiodate for ultrastructural staining, enhancing visualization techniques in histochemistry (Lobo et al., 2002).

  • Dextran functionalized surfaces via reductive amination: morphology, wetting, and adhesion.: Sodium metaperiodate was used to functionalize dextran surfaces, improving the properties of biomaterials for various applications (Miksa et al., 2006).

  • Assay of labile estrogen o-quinones, potent carcinogenic molecular species, by high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry with phenazine derivatization.: This study utilized sodium metaperiodate in the assay of labile estrogen o-quinones, advancing analytical chemistry techniques for detecting carcinogenic compounds (Yamashita et al., 2010).

  • One-step immobilization of antibodies for α-1-fetoprotein immunosensor based on dialdehyde cellulose/ionic liquid composite.: Sodium metaperiodate was key in the one-step immobilization of antibodies on a dialdehyde cellulose/ionic liquid composite, advancing immunosensor technology for detecting α-1-fetoprotein (Shen et al., 2015).
