General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which belong to one of the four categories of greener alternatives. Phosphoric acid-doped polybenzimidazole (PBI) membranes offer a cleaner path to energy by enabling high-temperature fuel cells that efficiently convert hydrogen into electricity with low emissions. Their durability and proton conductivity make them ideal for sustainable power systems. Click here for more information.

Application

ortho-Phosphoric acid can be used as a:
  • Reactant in the synthesis of polyurethane ionomer films through etherification with polyoxypropylene glycol in the presence of tertiary amines.
  • Catalyst in pinacolic rearrangement reactions when it is supported on silica.
  • Phosphorus source in the synthesis of diaryl phosphates.
