General description

Plant cell division factor. Stimulates Ca2+ influx (Km = 1 nM) by moss protoplasts. Reported to induce positive inotropic effects through activation of P2-purinergic receptors. When complexed with copper, catalyzes molecular oxygen dismutation at physiological pH.

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
