Application

N-Phenylthiourea can be used as a reactant to synthesize:
  • Thiazoles via solvent- and catalyst-free condensation with halo ketones.
  • Formamidine disulfides via oxidation.
  • Luminescent copper(I) cyanide-based coordination polymers.
