General description

M.W. 1563.9 (based on stearoyl - 18:0).

Monosialoganglioside extracted from bovine brain. Useful as an antigen and receptor for cholera toxin, as a growth inhibition marker in fibroblasts, and as a marker for lymphoid subpopulations. One mole yields 1 mole of sialic acid by thiobarbituric acid assay.

Note: This product is not to be used for animal treatment, in vivo research or in any other contact procedure with livestock.
