Anti-RNF110/PCGF2 Antibody

Polycomb group ring finger 2, also known as PCGF2, is a transcriptional repressor. Polycomb group (PcG) of genes were first identified in Drosophila whereby these genes were required to sustain the stable repression of Hox cluster genes during development. Studies have shown that PCGF2 forms multimeric protein complexes associated with chromatin. In addition, PCGF2 may play a role in cell proliferation and/or neural cell development. PCGF2 is widely expressed in placenta, lung, and kidneys but expressed very little in skeletal muscle, liver, and pancreas.
