General description

Application
- as a component in modified Columbia agar (MCA) to culture and isolate bacterial colonies
- in validation studies for determining molar substitution of hydroxyethylstarches (HES) by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy
- as a substrate in anaerobic batch experiments to study the effect of carbohydrates on protein hydrolysis
