Application
- Novel method for the preparation of controlled-release theophylline granules coated with a polyelectrolyte complex of sodium polyphosphate-chitosan.: This paper presents a novel approach to creating controlled-release theophylline granules using a coating made from a polyelectrolyte complex of sodium polyphosphate and chitosan. This method could significantly impact pharmaceutical formulations by improving drug release profiles and patient compliance (Kawashima et al., 1985).
