General description
This refill pack contains all the reagents for the MQuant® test kits 1.14780 and 1.14412 for the colorimetric evaluation of zinc. When the reagents of the MQuant® test are used up, the kit can be replenished by ordering the appropriate refill pack. Refill packs are available for a range of MQuant® test kits, making it a particularly economical and ecological system.
Method
In sulfuric solution zinc ions react with thiocyanate ions and brilliant green to form a blue-green complex. The zinc concentration is measured semiquantitatively by visual colorimetric evaluation.
