General description
This refill pack contains all the reagents for the MQuant® test kits 1.18386 and 1.14413 for the colorimetric evaluation of aluminium. When the reagents of the MQuant® test are used up, the kit can be replenished by ordering the appropriate refill pack. Refill packs are available for a range of MQuant® test kits, making it a particularly economical system.
Method
In weakly acidic, acetate-buffered solution aluminium ions react with chromazurol S to form a blue compound. Due to the intrinsic orange coloration of the reagent blank, the measurement solution is orange-red to red in color. The aluminium concentration is measured semiquantitatively by visual colorimetric evaluation.
