General description

Luria Broth is a nutrient rich media designed for the cultivation of E. coli in samples from food and other materials.
The medium is supplemented with casein and yeast extract supplying essential nutrients for growth. The presence of essential electrolytes in the medium maintains osmotic balance and promotes growth. Selective cultivation is achieved on adding specific antibiotics.

Application

Luria Broth is used to cultivate and promote growth of E. coli in test samples from the food and beverage industry.

Production will take place at Millipore SAS in Molsheim, France. Deliveries will be executed in accordance with the terms and conditions of MLS RTU GmbH. A minimum order quantity is required to process the order. Once the order is placed and confirmed, Merck will ensure product delivery within a maximum timeframe of 10 to 12 weeks.
