General description
Recombinant, human bone morphogenetic protein (BMP-1) consisting of amino acids 121-730 and expressed in NS0-derived mouse myeloma cells with a C-terminal His•Tag sequence.
Recombinant, human bone morphogenetic protein (BMP-1) consisting of amino acids 121-730 and expressed in NS0-derived mouse myeloma cells with a C-terminal His•Tag sequence. Will cleave a fluorogenic peptide substrate.
Biochem/physiol Actions
>2 pmol/min/µg as determined by cleavage of a fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca-YVADAPK (Dnp)-OH
Physical form
Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered HEPES, NaCl, CaCl₂, ZnCl₂, and Brij®35 detergent.
Preparation Note
Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are good for up to 3 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute to 100 µg/ml in sterile 25 mM HEPES and 0.01% Brij35, pH 7.5.
