General description
Anti-CD40, mouse monoclonal, clone EA-5, recognizes ~44 kDa CD40 in Raji cells. It is validated for use in Flow Cytometry, immunoprecipitation, & immunohistochemistry on frozen & paraffin sections.
Protein A purified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the ~44 kDa CD40 protein.

Packaging
Please refer to vial label for lot-specific concentration.
Physical form
In 150 mM NaCl, 100 mM KCl, 50 mM sodium phosphate, 0.5 mg/ml gentamicin sulfate, pH 7.5.
Other Notes
FACS was performed on 5x105 cultured Raji human tumor cells. Optimal binding concentration tested was 5 µg/ml using FITC-conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG as a secondary antibody. This antibody has also been reported to work for frozen sections, immunoprecipitation, and paraffin sections. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
