General description

A cell-permeable tertabromobenzimidazolo TBB (Cat. Nos. 218699 and 218708) analog that acts as a highly selective (IC50 >10 µM against 71 other kinases) ATP-competitive inhibitor against CK2 (IC50 = 500 nM; Ki = 250 nM) and ERK8 (IC50 = 500 nM). K66 is reported to be more selective than either TBB or DMAT and selective CK2 inhibition by K66 is shown to be cytotoxic to non-ERK8-expressing Jurkat cells.
