General description

A cell-permeable tetrabrominated cinnamic acid compound that acts as a potent and ATP-competitive inhibitor of Casein Kinase II (IC50 = 110 nM, Ki = 77 nM) with greater selectivity than TBB (Cat. No. 218697 and Cat. No. 218708) and DMAT against a panel of 28 commonly studied kinases. Shown to efficiently induce apoptosis in Jurkat cells (DC50 = 7.7 µM). The solid form of this compound (Cat. No. 218710) is also available.
