General description

A cell-permeable thienylcarboxamide compound that acts as a potent, ATP-competitive, and highly selective Flt-3 inhibitor (IC50 = 42 nM) with little effect against a panel of 22 other kinases (IC50 ≥3 µM). Shown to exhibit antiproliferative properties against the human acute myelogenous leukemia cell line MV4-11 (IC50 = 340 nM) expressing constitutively active Flt-3.
