General description

A cell-permeable iminooxothiazolidine compound that is shown to counteract the antagonizing effect of SARP-2/sFRP-1 (secreted frizzled related protein-1) against Wnt-3/frizzled interaction and restore cellular response to Wnt-3 stimulation (by a 2.3-fold enhancement at 15 µM) in U2OS-based reporter assays. Also reported to increase total bone area and the number of osteoblasts (by ~20% and ~45%, respectively) in a murine ex vivo calvarial bone formation assay.

Packaging

Packaged under inert gas

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
