General description

Non-hydrolyzable GTP analog that is used for the study of GTP-dependent enzymes. The preferred GTP analog for activation of ADP-ribosylation factor. Binds tightly to G-proteins and causes irreversible activation. May be useful in studies requiring presaturation of GTP-binding sites.
