A cell-permeable steroidal alkaloid similar to cyclopamine (Cat. No. 239803) that displays teratogenic effects and induces cyclopia by blocking shh (Sonic Hedgehog) signaling (IC50 = ~ 500-700 nM in s12 cells). Tomatidine (Cat. No. 614350) serves as a suitable negative control.
