General description

Recombinant, human MAP Kinase 1 fused to a His•Tag sequence and expressed in E. coli. Highly active form produced by phosphorylation of purified, recombinant MAP kinase in vitro with MEK1. Suitable for labeling MAP kinase substrates or for inhibitor screening.

Physical form

In 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM DTT, 50% glycerol, pH 8.5.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).

Other Notes
