General description

Recombinant, human MAP Kinase 2 fused to a His•Tag sequence and expressed in E. coli. Highly active form produced by phosphorylation of the purified MAP Kinase in vitro with MEK1. Suitable for labeling MAP Kinase substrates.

Physical form

In 150 mM NaCl, 50 mM Tris, 1 mM DTT, 50% glycerol, pH 8.5.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).
