General description
Potent and specific inhibitor of cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase (PDE V, IC50 = 230 nM). Elevates the intracellular cGMP level without causing a change in the cAMP level in isolated porcine coronary arteries. Has no effect on other PDE isoenzymes.
