General description

A potent antagonist for α2-adrenoceptors (pKi values are 8.52, 8.00 and 9.17 for human α2a, α2B and α2C receptors respectively). Often used as pharmacological stressor in animal studies.
Yohimbine Hydrochloride is a potent antagonist for α₂-adrenoceptors, α2B and α2C receptors respectively).
