General description

A biarylurea derivative that acts as a selective positive allosteric modulator selective for α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (α7 nAChR) without substantial activity for α4β2, α3β3 and α1-containing receptors. Exhibits cognitive enhancing effects in vivo.
