General description

Recombinant, human p34Cdk1/cyclin B expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. This kinase is a major regulator of the eukaryotic cell cycle. As a monomer, Cdk1 is inactive and requires association with cyclin B and phosphorylation of Thr161 to form an active complex. MW: 34000(p34Cdk1) and 55000(cyclinB).

Physical form

In 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM HEPES, 1 mM DTT, 100 µM EDTA, 50% glycerol, 0.01% Brij® 35 Detergent, pH 7.5.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).
