General description

A neurotoxin that is a precusor of MPP+ which is toxic to dopaminergic neurons and causes Parkinsonism. Widely used in research to induce Parkinson′s disease models in primates.

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
