General description
A cell-permeable, diaryl sulfonamide PPARβ/δ subtype-specific pure competitive antagonist with an IC50 of 98 nM. Antagonizes ligand binding without enabling coregulator interactions. Inhibits the PPARβ/δ specific agonist-induced transcriptional activity in cell cultures.
