General description
Recombinant, human platelet derived growth factor AA (disulfide-linked dimer of two A-chain monomers) expressed in E. coli. Amino acid sequence is the long form of mature human PDGF-A chain and is identical to that deduced from the native human nucleotide sequence except for the addition of an N-terminal methionine group.

Physical form
Lyophilized from a sterile-filtered solution in 30% acetonitrile, 0.1% TFA.
Preparation Note
Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-70°C) for long-term storage or refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of solutions. Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at 4°C.
