Analysis Note

Evaluated by Western Blotting in untransfected and TRABID transfected HEK293 cell lysate.

Western Blotting Anlaysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected TRABID in TRABID transfected HEK293 cell lysate.

Application

Detect TRAF-binding domain-containing protein using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-TRABID Antibody validated for use in western blotting & IP.
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: 59 µL from a representative lot immunoprecipitated TRABID from 500 µg of HeLa cell lysate. Immunopreciptated protein was then probed with a 1:170 dilution of the same antibody in WB.

General description

TRAF-binding domain-containing protein (TRABID) is also known as Ubiquitin thioesterase ZRANB1 and Zinc finger Ran-binding domain-containing protein 1. TRABID specifically hydrolyzes ′Lys-29′-linked and ′Lys-33′-linked diubiquitin, as well as′Lys-63′-linked chains, but with less efficiency. TRABID positively regulates the Wnt signaling pathway, is involved in regulation of cell morphology, cytoskeletal organization, stress fiber dynamics and cell migration, and may also modulate TNF-alpha signaling.
~80 kDa observed

Immunogen

Recombinant protein corresponding to the N-terminus of human TRABID.

Physical form

Affinity purified
Purified rabbit polyclonal in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.

Preparation Note

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
