The clathrin triskelion is composed of three light chain (LC) and three heavy chain (HC) subunits. Cellular control of clathrin function is thought to be aimed at the LC subunit, mainly on the basis of structural information. To test this

Overexpression and enhanced activation of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor are frequent events in human cancers that correlate with poor prognosis. Anti-phosphotyrosine and anti-EGFr affinity chromatography, isotope-coded muLC-MS/MS, and immunoblot methods were combined to describe and measure signaling networks

A role for clathrin in AP-3-dependent vesicle biogenesis has been inferred from biochemical interactions and colocalization between this adaptor and clathrin. The functionality of these molecular associations, however, is controversial. We comprehensively explore the role of clathrin in AP-3-dependent vesicle
