General description

Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) is a member of the paramyxovirus group of enveloped negative-stranded RNA viruses that also includes measles, mumps, respiratory syncytial virus and the parainfluenza viruses.

Immunogen

Intact, UV-inactivated, egg-grown Newcastle Disease Virus strain Australia-Victoria.

Physical form

Liquid in 0.02M PB with 0.25M NaCl, pH 7.6. Contains 0.1% sodium azide.
