Recombinant full-length mouse Navbeta2.

~38 kDa observed. Target band size appears larger than the calculated molecular weight of 24.23 kDa due to glycosylation.

Western Blotting Analysis: 2.0 µg/mL from a representative lot detected Navbeta2 in 10 µg of rat brain tissue lysate.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A representative lot detected Navbeta2 immunoreactivity in adult rat hippocampus sections (Courtesy of Professor. James S. Trimmer, UC Davis, CA, USA).
Western Blotting Analysis: A representative lot detected Navbeta2 only in brain lysates from wild-type rats and mice, but not in brain lysates from Scn2b-knockout mice.

Clone N395/68 detects the sodium channel subunit beta-2 (Navbeta2) target band only in brain lysates from wild-type rats and mice, but not brain lysates from Scn2b-knockout mice. Clone N395/68 does not cross-reacts with Navbeta1, Navbeta3 or Navbeta4.

Purified mouse monoclonal IgG2bκ antibody in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.

Evaluated by Western Blotting in mouse brain tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: 2.0 µg/mL of this antibody detected Navbeta2 in mouse brain tissue lysate.
