Immunopreciptation: The antibody will immunoprecipitate 8% of all GABA A receptors in sodium dodecyl sulfate extracts of rat forebrains (150 μL) using 20 μg of antibody.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

GABA A receptor alpha4 subunit. The apparent molecular mass of the alpha 4 subunit in rat brain membrane fractions is 64 kDa.

Affinity purified immunoglobulin in 10 mM HEPES, pH 7.5, with 150 mM NaCl, 100 μg/mL BSA and 50% glycerol.

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted for up to 6 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Do not store in a self-defrosting freezer.
