General description

The storage tank’s unique design protects pure water against stagnation, safeguarding the quality of stored water better than ever before. This high-quality polyethylene tank is compact to give an easier fit in a limited space.

The tank stores purified water produced by Milli-Q® IQ 7003/05/10/15, Milli-Q® IX 7003/05/10/15 and Milli-Q® EQ 7000/08/16 water purification systems.

Application

This intelligent pure water storage tank frame should be combined with the Milli-Q® IQ/IX/EQ storage tank top assembly to provide multi-targeted prevention of bacterial, particulate, and CO2 contamination.

Features and Benefits

Within the tank (tank frame with tank top), pure water quality is preserved by 4 built-in features:


  • A seamlessly integrated vent filter provides improved protection against airborne contaminants.
  • Automatic Sanitization Module (ASM) with an integrated mercury-free ECH2O®UVC LED lamp emitting at 265 nm, regularly irradiates stored water and tank walls, preventing bacterial growth and biofilm formation (from the Tank Top Assembly TANKT0PA1 ).
  • The overflow sensor replaces the hydraulic overflow connection to the drain and the tank front ball valve, eliminating sources of retro-contamination.
  • The pressure level sensor replaces the float level sensor, eliminating this in-between air and water surface source of biofilm development.
